Ms. Crespin’s practice is focused on domestic relations, criminal, juvenile and civil litigation as well as domestic relations mediation. Ms. Crespin has 20 years of extensive litigation experience. Ms. Crespin has tried and presided over hundreds of criminal cases from traffic to homicide and has handled countless domestic relations matters including divorce, common law marriage, custody, child support, maintenance and relocation cases both as counsel and as a judge. Ms. Crespin has extensive experience in juvenile law, including adjudication, dependency & neglect and truancy matters. Tomee is bi-lingual in Spanish and has represented clients in state and municipal courts throughout the Denver Metro area, Weld, Larimer, Douglas and El Paso counties.

As a certified mediator, Ms. Crespin brings a wealth of domestic relations judicial experience to help parties reach resolutions in a positive and cost-effective manner. Ms. Crespin understands that each case is special and unique. She employs a proactive, common sense approach while working with the parties which focuses on addressing each party’s emotional and financial needs.

Ms. Crespin also provides confidential case assessments and evaluations. With over 20 years of litigation and trial experience as a Judge, Defense Attorney and Prosecutor, Ms. Crespin offers counsel and client a unique opportunity to assess their case in a confidential, personal and well-informed manner. This private evaluation provides an opportunity to confidentially assess strengths and weaknesses of a case as well as prospective strategy for trial and pretrial negotiation.

Prior to joining Dill and Dill, Ms. Crespin served as a District Court Judge in the 17 th Judicial District where she presided over hundreds of domestic relations and criminal cases. Ms. Crespin also served as a Municipal Court Judge for the cities of Lakewood, Commerce City and Brighton for several years. Before being appointed to the District Court bench by Governor Hickenlooper, Ms. Crespin was the owner of The Law Office of Tomee Crespin, LLC, where she focused on domestic relations, criminal and juvenile litigation. Ms. Crespin also served as a Senior Trial Attorney prosecuting cases for the Adams County District Attorney’s Office for several years before entering into private practice. In addition to having handled hundreds of cases, Ms. Crespin served as the President of the Adams/Broomfield Bar Association, serves on the University of Denver Strum College of Law Alumni Council, served on non-profit boards, conducted numerous trainings in both criminal and domestic relations law and has served as an adjunct professor of Criminal Law and Native American Studies at Metropolitan State University.
